Guest guest
Perhaps a little off topic but thought this was interesting…Tonight on the PBS show Nature the topic is whether or not animals can predict oncoming disaster. Part of the show will focus on the behavior of animals just before the tsunami struck killing thousands. http://www.pbs.org/wnet/nature/animalspredict/index.html As a person who loves and observes animals I believe they can pick up on things around us that we can not. Guest guest
Hi Linda, On a similar note I believe that animals are "psychic" or at least in tune with other energies. We all know of times when our pets know that we are coming home because we may fleetingly think of home etc, just yesterday I was undecided whether to call at a friends home and decided at the last minute when I was about 10 minutes away from her house - apparently the dog got up to greet us at that time when I thought this. 5 years ago I wanted to rescue a dog from Greece I had met on holiday and had someone looking for the dog for me and he was having problems locating it. One morning I woke up "knowing" that the dog's problems were over & it was ok now. At the time I thought that he may have found it for me, but unfortunately not. I went back to Greece a couple of weeks later with the intention of getting the dog but was told that it had been gone for some time - I now believe that my "dream" was the moment that the dog died & that it's troubles were over because of this. While searching in Greece for the dog in the location I was asking my guides/higher self, whatever you want to call it, what I should do and went for a drink late in the evening in a crowded bar with 200 to 300 people in. I was still trying to communicate with whatever was best to happen, etc. Anyway a dog walked into the bar and stood in the middle and looked around as if she was looking for someone - she was quickly chased out as it was unheard of for a dog to enter the bar. I took this as my sign and took this dog home instead - she is now over 6 years old. When she was in quarantine, one day I was sitting with her in her run when we were listening to a dog in the next run making strange noises and scratching at the wall between us - they were very distinctive noises and went on for a long time. When the kennel maid came to let me out much later I asked her about the dog next door and was told that there were no dogs on that side of us - I had to go & look as the sound was so completely real. Anyway several days later I was sitting with my husband in the kennel run when we heard the noise again - I tried to ignore it as I did not want to freak him out as he does not like me hearing or seeing things which he can't, but he also heard it and mentioned it. When the kennel maid came she said that this dog only arrived the previous day, which was 3 days after my dog & I first heard it, and it was still making it's very distinctive noise. The kennel maids thought that they only on that day decided which kennel/run they were going to use for the dog, but I of course believe that it was pre-programmed days before then. Val As a person who loves and observes animals I believe they can pick up on things around us that we can not. Linda
