Guest guest
Hi - I am new to this group and am looking for advice regarding a kidney disease called Polycystic Kidney Disease. I foudn otu last year that I have this. It is a genetically inherited disease, however, my mother and father do not have it so I guess I am the lucky mutation. Bascially the disease involves the growth of multiple cysts on my kidneys liver and possibly other organs. These cysts may grow or multiply to an extent that kidney function is impaired. I am wondering if anyone has any experience with treating this disease or treating kidney dsease or cysts with alternative medicines/treatments/natrual remedies - anything but aliopathic doctors. (Did I spell that right?) I am new to all of this and so please be patient with me Thank you - Nini
Guest guest
11.11.05 yes there are several indian yogic hand postures which could be very helpful. there are several of them uploaded in the group files under the head ` mudras`. in this apan mudra is helpful and if shankh mudra is there, it also help body to release toxins and improve liver and kidney function. you can try them. if you feel the benefit then you can turn to my e-books in which we have a special kidney mudra which is used for avoiding kidney dialysis or reducing its regularity. it improves function of kidney as a whole. there is also a special detoxification mudra which reduces toxins and even negative forces present in the body. once you do apan mudra and/or shankh mudra within one week you can feel the difference. basically cysts are a form of stagnant energy and which is cleared through the action of mudras forcing energy in all the lines. once the blocks are cleared, if mudras are done occasionally, it will not allow them to form again. these are basically based on correcting the imbalance of 5 elements with which the body is made. our hand is computor keyboard. chinese accupressure or accupuncture is based on similar lines. there is an article there explaining scientific base of working of yoga mudras. with light & love d.k.kothari DK_Holistic_Healing/ - " gabba0610 " <gabba0610 Friday, November 11, 2005 12:01 AM AlternativeTreatments for Kidney Disease > Hi - > > I am new to this group and am looking for advice regarding a kidney > disease called Polycystic Kidney Disease. Guest guest
Nini, If you don't mind saying, how old are you? What were the symptoms, if any, that led to the diagnosis?? I ask as I have 3 sons - twins age 16 (not identical) and oldest is 20 - and polycystic KD runs in their dad's immediate family. Sorry, I'm no help with your question, his/dad's twin brothers ended up with transplants. But am curious as they were diagnosed with it at a young age and am wondering if it can develop at an older age? and what any symptoms might be. If you don't mind answering. I'm interested in this also (in case) and if I find anything, I'll post!
