Guest guest
Hi kumilela, I wonder if there's anyone who has experience drinking kukicha tea, a japanese tea for digestive system. I've been reading that's it's good to drink for acid reflux. I used to drink it every morning and often during the day as well - I don't know why I stopped drinking it regularly - it is the main drink in a macrobiotic diet and is a good relaxing drink - about as near to drinking normal black tea in a healthy drink as you can get. If you want to buy one which is not too bitter buy the one made from twigs, rather than the one from the leaves - you boil them up in a pan, simmer for a few minutes, and can re-use until the flavour is too weak. i've also started to drink ginger tea by grating fresh ginger. You do not need to grate the ginger - just slices in a pan boiled up will do the job. Since you have a sensitive digestive system, make sure that you take the skin off of the ginger before using it. You can also use ginger juice in lots of ways in cooking - take the skin off & then use a ceramic ginger grater, and then squeeze out the juice, you can wet the remaining bits by adding a little water & squeeze again.
