Guest guest
Does anyone have information on alternative lifestyle or remedies for diverticulosis? It's to do with the colon. I can send more information; it's for a friend who I think is in her late 40s [she hides her age], and quite slim actually. Hope there is help that she can use. Thank you. Guest guest
I have a mild case of Diverticulosis as well. It was suggested to me to eat lots of fiber -- specifically Psyllium. The object is to keep your stools bulky. In time, there's a chance that it will heal, or at least get better, on their own. On the other side, it could turn into Diverticulitis, which is an inflamation of the " Diverticulosos " in the colon. This could be nasty from what I understand. All in all - have your friend eat lots of fiber, including fruits & vegetables and less sugars and white carbs. Hope this helps. Guest guest
My mother in law has diverticulosis...and is drinking Herbal Aloe (contains Camomile). She feels much better, and stronger, too. It has a very cleansing, soothing effect and can be consumed plain (1/4 c. over ice) or mixed in water or fruit juice. I use it also. Hope this helps, too Athena Senior Consultant Herbalife
Guest guest
Thank you so much Athena. Do you know whether aloe can be used straight from the plant in some way?
