Guest guest
A sceptical friend pointed out: "You go see one of those naturopaths, and they put you on a long list of herbs and supplements, and then they get you to clean up your diet, drink more water, and go for a walk every day. If you feel better after some time, how do you know if it was due to the herbs and supplements instead of the life style changes?" Answer: You don't know, and change for the good is likely due to many factions. I tell prospective customers for my wild-foods program that I don't care how many Health Paks they eat, if their diet consists of pre-packaged food and their idea of exercise is walking over to the TV instead of using the remote, they are wasting their money. On the other hand, most people who try a Health Pak or other whole-body supplement system are ready to make changes in their life. The powerful boost from a good program that cleanses, nourishes and balances may well give them the extra energy and willpower to make the needed lifestyle changes. Health building takes many factors into account. Some are universal and some are more individual. For example, avoiding refined sugar is a good idea for everyone. Organically grown food is a good idea for everyone, but some people thrive on soy products that may be pure poison for someone else. Those of us lucky enough to not be under a doctor's care get to play and experiment. We are working to optimize our life experience, not to create scientific claims. In the end there is only one authority whose opinion counts: the guide within. Illustration follows. Happy health building everyone!
