Guest guest
I read several responses to my post and I thank everyone who took the time to answer me. I am not really sure why I take aspirin each day. I am 32 and healthy as far as I know. My daughter was born w/o complication 3 years ago. 2 days after her birth I had a dizzy spell and felt like I was collapsing. They took me to the hospital....ran every test possible (artery scans, heart scans, brain scans, etc) and everything was normal. There was one cardiologist who ran a protein clotting factor on my blood within 3 weeks of the birth. He came back and said it was high and that I should take a full strength aspirin daily for the rest of my life. I started that scared out of my wits. Then earlier this year a friend said " hey, if you just gave birth, you should have been clotting) and I dropped the aspirin to 81mg daily. I just had the test redone and it shows that I am in the normal range (this was while on 81mg)....I am seriously considering not taking the aspirin to find out if that is it or not. Any additional thoughts or suggestions? Thanks Caryn
