Guest guest
Hello, I just want to comment on the article about the seeming contradiction between the assumption that mental disorders are physically based, yet the medical establishment has not really a clue to where the connection really is, and the proliferation of new labels for disorders that ballooned to about 3x in the Diagnostic Manual according to the article. I don't have the article in front of me here so I renamed the header. According to my life experience, reading and talking to others, I am coming to the conclusion that most of us are affected directly or indirectly by some form of mental disorders on a sliding scale from symptomal anxiety to full blown anti-social behaviors by family, co-workers and friends. I think it no less than a pandemic. There IS a physical link and it couldn't be otherwise. But the answer is not in symptom repression. That is where the mental health industry aka racket is at. As an example of the already known connections between enzymatic dysfunction and mental disorders, such as schizophrenia, pyroluria (sometimes spelled pyrroluria)is a physically based condition with mental consequences. I really feel that symptom repression on the whole is a very bad philosophy except in temporary, emergency situations. I myself am committed to the natural route, which is the reason I to your list. Many thanks, ZB
