Guest guest
I had a doctor that gave me sublingual pellets of Arnica Montana, to use immediately postop, after some minor surgery. The dosing strength was 30c (which is the highest). I did very well in the sense that I had very little swelling, no brusing, fast healing. AM is supposed to help minor trauma, sprains, bruising. Another time I tried the same dosage after surgery for a broken foot bone, & I didn't see that there was a benefit. Without a doubt, for the broken bone, I benefited the most from ultrasound, electrical stimulus, & hand massage. PubMed has various hits on Arnica Montana. Because of my first good experience, I will probably use again (if needed), on the chance that I might have leverage with healing. If you try it, go for the 30C, because I've heard every other strength (such as 6x) just doesn't do anything at all. Arnica Montana pellets can be found at most health food stores. Healthway, for instance carries this. Regular pharmacy chains don't carry this (in my area). Of course, there's also the zillion internet sites that sell it. foxhillers wrote: > > Kathy > I've never heard of Arnica taken internally. Who suggested that to > you? Guest guest
Hi everyone, I am caring for a sick relative who has been diagnosed as having low haemoglobin levels. He has recently had a dreadful cold and has taken a course of antibiotics for a chest infection and urinary tract infection. This was a week ago. Today he is feeling weak and dizzy and the local hospital diagnosed the low haemoglobin levels probably caused by bleeding from a hemorroid which has ruptured with excessive coughing. He is having lots of fruit and vegetables and I am making juices of apples, spinach, carrot, and beetroot with some stem and tops, as well as giving multi vitamins. What else could be useful. Thanking you in advance. Warm wishes Lyn http://personals..au - Personals New people, new possibilities. FREE for a limited time.

Veggies high in vitamin K such as broccoli, cabbage, brussels sprouts and cauliflower encourage clotting. These may be eaten either steamed or raw. To alleviate acute hemorhoidal pain, use Rawleigh Medicated Ointment. This salve is excellent and is not irritating to the mucus membranes. Rawleigh dealers are generally found in the yellow pages of your local phone directory. They may also be found using Google search engines. There are a host of sites that offer Rawleigh products. Although it is an old remedy it is the very best yet, in my opinion!! Cheers, JoAnn
Guest guest
Tonight I brought my mom to the hospital, we think she had a stroke. She refused to let them take a cat scan but it's obvious that's what it probably is. She's not the same person that she was two days ago and it's effected her severely. I know that this is a very serious condition but I would like to ask if anyone has any information that might be helpful. Thank you, Dave
Guest guest
Why would your Mom refuse to let them do a scan? The damage is done by now. An interesting product that is now coming to our supplement market that helps keep fibrin in check(fibrin causes the 'clogging " type of stroke, the other type of stroke is the hemmorging stroke) is Nattokinase. But without a scan they will have a hard time telling which kind of stroke your Mom had. Do a google search. Guest guest
She refused because she wasn't coherent. Thanks and I would be even more interested in natural preventative measures like cayenne for example. The reason I posted the question is that often when someone has a stroke or, in this case a TIA, transient ischemic attack ( mini stroke) they often have more, so any information on natural preventatives I'd be really grateful for. Again, thanks very much, Dave On Sat, 13 Mar 2004 06:18:31 -0500 " H & M Feld " <ariel writes: > Why would your Mom refuse to let them do a scan? Guest guest
One look at this guy's new horrendously overpriced Vitamin C product http://www.0disease.com/0amazingc.html and his statement " All other types of Vitamin C products really don't work " " AMAZING C! resolves the problem many people have with taking even a few hundred mg of Vitamin C in any form. With AMAZING C! you can take a 1000 to 3000 mg a day easily. " People can easily take 1000 to 3000mg *unbuffered* vitamin C daily, if done in divided doses, and much more with buffered forms. You don't kneed his special " formula " which just contains some extra calcium and magnesium. What a rip-off. The 'magic' water looks even more dubious. Guest guest
Canine, I've personally talked with Dr. Wheeler, and ordered the remedies from him. He did send me some of the water, but I haven't tried it yet. The Koch remedies have much supportive documentation online at www.williamfkoch.com ? I have quite a bit of info on my webpage under Homeopathy, then under Koch. When I ordered the remedies from Dr. Wheeler, they came with NO documentation, and even when I requested the protocol from him for the remedies ordered, he didn't send any to me..... So I don't know what to tell you. The remedies he is selling are legitiment remedies from a German Pharmacy, but he's markered out the pharmacy name and any identifying info except for the name of the remedy on the vials. The remedies are good quality, and work well. Carriage wrote: > Hello All, > > I have a question about a person and product. The person is Dr. David Wheeler located in Oregon. Guest guest
Hi Frank and all I was wondering if you have anything you could post about allergies to raw foods. This is about my daughter who 16.She has a severe allergy to raw foods and of course to dairy prods. At first I thought she was reacting to the chemicals on the food.I grew my own orchad of peaches, apples. berries. She had the same reaction to those foods. Here is a list of foods and her body's response to the raw foods. If she eats these cooked she does not have an allergic reaction but seems to me she looses the benefits of enzymes. She used to be able to eat these fruits then one day she couldn't.I am concerned this will happen with the rest of the raw things she can eat. Things she reacts to: carrots juiced celery, spinach, cuke apples kiwis all berries clementines raisins sometimes At this time she can eat melons bannans oranges grapefruits grapes Her allergy reaction is as follows: Example She has a bunny,She feeds it carrots. She touched her eye after feeding the bunny the with out other day without washing her hands.Immeadiately her eye became swollen.... almost completely shut.I gave her vit-C, shizandra ,and had her cleanse her eye and apply a cold cloth. That took care of it. If she eats raw food that she is allergic to her mouth itches and her throat starts to swell. What course of action can I do to change this situation? Guest guest
Hi No she isn't allergic to the bunny. She had this problem long before bunny arrived.I used the example of the bunny as that an example. But this happens whenever she tries to eat these foods. I noticed that raisins are on the list. This is interesting because I have had a problem with raisins recently. I noticed that almost immediately after purchasing they were turning hard and unpalatable very quickly. Since I like to eat them for their B-vitamin content I started to read more on this subject and found that all the raisins are now sprayed with a genetically engineered substance. The evidence is all there. If I find the article again I will post it for you. Other than that I try to buy everything organic because you never know how they're taking our otherwise healthy foods and perverting them at their slightest whim. It just infuriates me no end. Organic raisins are just a few cents more really but its just the idea of it. Our kids love raisins. It may also be something in the air. It is said that due to cross pollination GM toxins are everywhere. If it is allergies or hay fever there are some herbal remedies the may help. My youngest son was plagued for years with severe allergies (swollen red itching eyes) until I discovered Nettle tea and Marshmallow. Bilberry is great for eye health! We use standard process bilberry. Cheers, JoAnn
