Candida Albicans

Dear Group,

Candida Albicans is one of the hardest issues to deal with. All bad

yeasts or bacterias are labeled this even though there are millions

of different ones possible.

Drugs from big pharma are usually ineffective. Herbs are much safer,

but usually do not wipe it out completely.

The way that I see it is, the part of the problem is that we are not

seeing this an imbalance problem. We usually see this as a " kill the

invader problem " .

When we try to " kill " the yeasts, it usually involves a very long

process and it is rarely successfull. That is like trying to " kill "

bad bacteria in a lake by putting chemicals in to do it. The problem

can only be corrected by rebalancing the environment possibly by

changing it back to a the natural state and by re adding some of the

good bacteria that is missing.

Even with bacteria, antibiotics usually do not " kill " all of them, it

wipes out large numbers (it wipes out the good also, creating another

imbalance) and the body usually kils the left overs.

The same happens in using drugs or herbs for yeasts, it is a never

ending fight to get the numbers of yeasts down for them only to

quickly grow and come back.

A normal intestinal flora is composed of hundreds of different

bacterias and yeasts. With a good diet, it keeps itself in balance as

long as there is not an ingestion of " toxic " material to kill them in

some way. This usually is usually done by taking pharmacuticals.

If we see it as an imbalance problem, and approach it slightly

different, we say what is the imbalance going on here.

It is that the good yeasts and bacterias in the body have been

overwhelmed by the bad for some reason. Did the person take drugs or

medicine which damaged the internal flora. Is it diet? Remember that

some of the " bad " ones are necessary to the internal mix for health.

The " bad " are usually kept in check by sufficient " good " ones, so

there isn't a problem. It is the imbalance that is causing the

problem.

The obvious answer to me is to use what is missing. So most of these

type answer available commercially are probiotic pills or supplements.

Depending on how much the bad there is and how far you have to go to

get it back into balance, this is usualy like trying to put out a

large fire with a garden hose. The probiotic pills are usually one or

a few different type bacterias. But most of the imbalances are caused

by a diffeciency in the hundreds of bacterias and yeasts normally

present in the bowels etc. not just in one or two.

The quatity to regain balance may be large if their is a huge

imbalance. We used to take in naormal bacterias and yeasts in our

diets also. I doubt whether that is much the case now with food going

through the industrial type process that we have today.

Which ones are deficient? You will never find out all of them. It is

too complex.

Ah, yougurts you say. Well then you are back again to one or two

bacterias available to fight the imbalance, even though with good

homemade yougurts the quantity can be better with more available

bacteria daily taken in. Commercial yougurts are not the same. They

are done fast. So the thickness and creaminess is usually achieved by

adding thickeners and other ingredients. The bacterias are added as

much for advertising as they are added for anything else with these.

Kefir the health food store might tell you. It made with a grain that

is composed of many different yeats and bacterias. The problem is

that the commercial version isn't made in the tradional way. It is

too slow for that, so they use a powder to do it. The commercial one

isn't even close in bacterial and yeast composition of what real

kefir is. It is made to taste and look similar but it isn't the same

product inside.

Homemade Kefir is the only one product that I know of that even comes

close to being a normal, natural, large input, of a great variety of

beneficial bacterias and yeasts in suffficient quantities to really

rebalance systems that are damaged badly.

The Kefir is made from a " grain " (it looks more like a brain), placed

in milk. It is a symbiotic growth of a large number of beneficial

yeasts and bacterias together. (they have identified hundreds in

there). You just place the grain in milk and leave it alone. In a few

hours you have Kefir. Then you remove the grain and put in some fresh

milk to keep the process going. No cooking, no refrigeration during

the processs, no machines or makers needed, no formulas, no supplies,

etc. That is why most people never hear about it or why there is no

big public relations about it. There is not a big commercial

advantage to it.

It is ideal for individual makers, but not for large commercial

operations. It has been made and used by families for hundreds of

years in Asia and Europe. It was made from cow's milk, horse milk,

etc. The Mongolians make it in a saddlebag of milk on horseback.

It is a very simple food to make, but it is unique and cannot be

replaced with anything else. It rebalances your internal environment

naturally by itself. All of those yeasts and bacterias will make B

vitamins and other nutrients forever for you unless you again take in

som emore " toxic " pharmacueticals. There are even beneficial

substances that are ONLY avalable in kefir. Some are even anti-cancer

type thingies.

If you are curious, there are some Kefir links on our links page.

Try it if you really want to heal a bad stomach or intestines.
