There's a great little booklet you can find in your health food

store, it's called " Malic acid and Magnesium for Fibromyalgia and

chronic pain syndrome. "

Fibromyalgia is the second most common rheumatic complaint seen by

physicians. It's thought that patients with Fibromyalgia

may be deficient in certain compounds required for the synthesis of

adenosine triphosphate (ATP) which requires the presence of

magnesium oxygen, substrate, ADP and phosphate.

It's been found that patients with Fibromyalgia have below normal

levels of magnesium.

Chronic fatigue and fibro is linked to toxins from heavy metal

buildup in the body.

Magnesium is required to block the toxic effects of aluminum.

You should be able to get Malic acid from vegetables and it's one

of the most important of the acids found in apples. This is where

diet can really aid in these health problems.

Also try to use organic whenever possible in order to prevent

further build up of toxins.

When your body has sufficient levels of magnesium, there will be a

decrease in pain and muscle spasms, usually within 48 hrs.

200 mg of malic acid with 500 mg of magnesium, up to six tablets

twice daily is recommend.

There was a report in the Journal of Rheumatology, May

1995 on this
