Guest guest
Astragalus: A little on the " Yang " side I hesitated to take astragalus initially because I had read that for some people it can be too much of a " yang " stimulant. If you've ever studied chinese medicine you know that this basically means that it warms up and charges the body. So, for the type of person who is already " yanged up " , (runs hot, is easily bothereed and annoyed, prone to rages and generally not someone who likes to sit and watch the world go by), astragulus may be too hot and cause these undesirable personality traits to become amplified. So, it is important to balance the " yin " with the " yang " when considering our entire herbal regime.
