West Nile Virus-- how do we boost our immune system?

A child just died from encephelitis from West Nile in my area. I'm

wondering what I can do to boost my childrens' immune systems from

developing the complications from West Nile? I'm particularly

concerned with my autistic daughter, she takes weeks to get over a

sickness that usually takes a few days. I'm thinking vit A and vit

C, any other suggestions? Mosquitos eat her alive, I've used Bert's

Bees repellant, doesn't help her a bit.
