Better yet, make it yourself.

get a couple of cans of garbazo beans (or a pound of dried and reconstitute

them)

Put 'em in your food processor or mortar and pestle.

Add some fresh garlic..... several cloves.

Grind 'em down

Add about 1/3 cup of Tahini...... (sesame paste)

Add juice of about a lemon

Add olive oil to adjust consistency along with some of the reserved beanwater

Add a bit of salt, if you must

Add some fresh garlic..... several cloves.

Find some wonderful fresh dark leafed romaine lettuce.

Ladle your homemade Hummus upon it and chow down.

Pamela,

Some say that the Anasazi primitives in Arizona mixed clay with beans to

make them palatable.
