Dear Trudy,

I don't know why it wasn't posted. But I am sure if it was well written,

indepth, on target, noncommercial, etc. It would have been.

To all new members:

This is not to Trudy, but as a general giudline to all members, especially the

new ones.

We do encourage all members to post.

If you post to the group, we expect you to know what you are talking about. That

means that you can explain it to us, not just tell us to use a certain product

etc.

If you post, try and use references, explanations, complete thoughts as to why,

what, because etc. Post articles that agree and explain your point of view etc.

What is not acceptable on this board is a lot of chit chat type messages that

really contain almost no real information but take up pages and pages on most of

these type groups. (That is what the chat room is for. The link to it is on our

front page.) There is no shortage of these type groups and if that is what

people are looking for there are plenty around, but that is not what this group

is about.

When you are new to the group, learn a little about the group first and see what

type of group this is and what type information is posted etc. Don't come here

and assume that this group is like most of the others where 90% of what gets

posted is either wrong, immaterial to the subject, misleading because the person

drew most of their information from commercially slanted ad sites on the web,

etc.

You do not have to be an expert here, but we do expect you to do some background

on what solution you are teling everyone else what to do or use. Sounds fair to

me.

regards,

Frank

Hello,

I sent a post on fatty liver yesterday, but I notice that it was not

posted. Shortly after I sent my post, I noticed that JoAnn Guest posted

something on fatty liver. I have now sent my post privately to the girl

who was asking the question, but I am just wondering why my post was not

posted.

Kind regards,

Trudy

Dear Group,

I am glad that this subject came up as we have new people in the group.

We as a group will try an help each other, but we are not in the " we are here to

heal you business " . Permit me to explain.

We get quite a few people coming here that think that if they tell us what is

wrong with them we can become their doctors and can diagnose, treat and cure

them by telling them what " magic " pill to take. What we are promoting on this

group, is that the allopathic medical establishment is usually not the best

course of action for most people. We promote natural methods for healing. But,

and here is a big but, we are here to heal ourselves and our families too, just

like you. This is more a group that teaches you how to be your own doctor. We

help each other along in that.

I wish that I could go to my local MD and find that he knew natural healing.

That is a pipe dream. It ain't gonna happen. Not in my lifetime anyway. The few

good naturopaths and ortomolecular docs are few and far between. So although I

don't like the situation and wish it different, that is the way it is. The only

other alternative for most of us is to learn what we can about our own health,

what natural nondestructive healing means and how to achieve it.

It is not my job to heal you and it is not your job to heal me, but together

maybe we can help each other find the way that we all need to heal period.

I and some others post lots of information here. some of the things that I post

are long and are not necessarily the momentary needs of everyone here. The

reason that I post the whole long article is so that it will be in our archives.

That way anyone can search and find it later if they need the information. Most

people just want what applies to them and they want it in two sentences.

Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on your point of view, we have over a

thousand members, so we try and cover many subjects as it will be on target of

some of them. But we ask you to post so that it has some indepth meaning for

those that can benefit from it.

Some people will be members for months and not read hardly anything. Not the

sites that we have in our links library, not the messages that are long that

they get daily, not the back messages in the archives. not much of anything. But

they then turn around and want the group to do all of the research, work and

solutions, etc. to heal them. They are not looking for information. They are

looking for a parent. (If you find one let me know as I could use one too). So,

before you ask someone else to give you an answer, don't you think that you can

try a little and look it up a little yourselves. Get some background

information. Read what is in the archives, read the sites from the linkspage.

Then ask questions about what you don't understand or are debatable. Or ask for

any information beyond what has been shared before.

So, yes, we want all to learn how to get well or just be healthy. We want all to

contribute. (I am tired of posting all of the time and the pay is lousy). The

only way to go about that with a 1000 members is to winnow through the messages

and try an seperate the wheat from the chaff. All of you post please. All we ask

of you is to do so in a manner that is beneficial to the way this group is set

up.

thanks,

Frank
