Guest guest
Hello, I sent a post on fatty liver yesterday, but I notice that it was not posted. Shortly after I sent my post, I noticed that JoAnn Guest posted something on fatty liver. I have now sent my post privately to the girl who was asking the question, but I am just wondering why my post was not posted. Kind regards, Trudy

I believe this was addressed to me. I will do my best to answer your concerns. I am sure many others wonder the same thing. As you can see by the messages and listing, this is primarily an alternative healing group which Frank very kindly asked me to contribute to. As moderators we live a very busy life and as Frank pointed out this service is provided in our spare time and out of a heart full of compassion for those who otherwise would be at the `mercy' of orthodox medicine! Although there are many good recommendations in your message, it is basically a regimen provided by your doctor for you his patient. The links (although very informative) are basically just information from pharmaceutical companies on the Net( basically,Merck). Most of us who find refuge here are interested in avoiding orthodox medicine and their pursuits and have come here to research our natural alternatives. Orthodox medicine comes in handy for diagnostics and testing. Other than that their drugs cause much more suffering than good!! In my opinion the suffering can never be alleviated by anything other than natural means. I highly recommend Dr. Sandra Cabot in Australia for her expertise in dealing with 'fatty liver'. She has an excellent track record of healing with an abundance of all-natural remedies. I do not doubt that your alternative doctor has all the right answers for you. However, in dealing with natural methods there is one point that we need to remember. Just as there is need for one to visit allopathic practitioners for proper diagnosis and cure, there is also a need for us to be aware of all our options when undertaking any natural regimen to follow. Although your doctor may have told you that this is the best regimen for you, this is your specific diagnosis at this time, to assume that anyone else would have the same exact requirements would be pure folly. This is why I believe in making one aware of all their options rather than just laying out a certain specific course for them to follow. Alternative medicine and orthodox medicine are both just basically trial and error. We are all specific individuals each with his own makeup and varying DNA and even though allopathic medicine tries to put everyone that has the same illness in the same little `box', with similar drug options, there are many variables involved… that`s why I believe in laying ALL the cards out on the table. Other than that they can use their own discretion in deciding on a course of action to follow. Alternative medicine was my Savior as many of you know! I am very happy to be alive and well today, actively involved in helping more of you gain confidence in a purely natural approach. However I must say I tried many and varied options before I achieved my final victory over a life of debilitating illness. Over the years I have learned that there are many facets to healing and a lot of hurdles one must face along the way. I also know that this is really an ongoing battle due to the toxic environment that we find ourselves in at the moment. Apparently, there is no specific point at which anyone of us can stand up and shout, " I've arrived " !! I have come a long way since I first started with these `miracle' cures and I certainly intend to be the very best I can be for as long as I live but we must always remember that there is no specific cure for any disease and we must also remember that we are not physicians but rather hold many precious lives in our hands. My son has discouraged me from my work many many times. He fears for myhealth and wellbeing in the light of recent events. I am not going to cease anytime soon but rather am going to do the best I can to educate the public regarding that which I believe to be the best and shortest route to a healthy existence. If I allowed information to leak through to the group which I thought was not the best and most appropriate for the person in question, I would not be able to rest at night. I take my work very seriously, however I am sorry if I offended you in any way by doing so. We must remember the seriousness of the topic at hand. We only have one liver for one (hopefully) very long lifetime. That is, unless we're lucky enough to be Larry Hagaman. We must remember, this is one of the more serious questions at hand,… and in the very same league with heart disease and cancer!!
