Guest guest
A vitamin C solution or drugstore Hydrogen peroxide painted on the sore reduces pain for me. Guest guest
I have been getting canker sores now for about 30 years. I would especially break out whenever I was under a lot of stress. About 20 years ago, I discovered that 2,000 mg of lysine twice a day was needed to make them go away. Now that I am taking vitamin C to bowel tolerance each & every day, I have dropped my lysine down to 500 mg x twice a day, and I can eat all the nuts I want for the first time in 20 years. No outbreaks whatsoever since using vitamin C to bowel tolerance. I used to get 2 or 3 outbreaks a year no matter what I did.
