Gum Disease - Nancy

Hi Nancy,

I use Fennel Oil, because MJH told me to! ;-) LOL Perhaps MJH could address why

Fennel Oil is used in this protocol. Personally, I like the taste, so it is not

an issue for me.

One thing I would like to mention is that essential oils are potent. I only use

this protocol once per day. (I recognize that most people brush their teeth a

couple of times per day.)

Also, while I always use the Fennel Oil, I have recently taken to rotating the

Tea Tree Oil with Myrrh essential oil. Apparently Myrrh has been used since

Biblical times for treating gum disease. ...and it still works today!

There are many different protocols for treating gum disease. Frank has brought

to our attention the use of Vitamin C and Comfrey. I read a report on the

Internet that a fellow cured his gum disease by splitting open Vitamin E

capsules and rubbing the oil on his gums. He said it took three months to heal

his gums. (I had a noticeable improvement with MJH's protocol in three weeks.

It was about the three week point that I was able to introduce flossing.)

It is very important to take gum disease seriously, because apparently it can

lead to diabetes and other serious illnesses.

As it has been already pointed out, there are many different ways to skin a

rabbit! ;-)

Kind regards,

Trudy

Is there something really important about the fennel? I don't much like

licorice flavor, and while I already use Tom's of Maine toothpaste and have used

tea tree oil for other things, this is a new use to me.

Thanks,

Nancy
