Current issues between Truehope and Health CanadaSince 1996 when the idea for

Empowerplus was discovered, Truehope has sought the help of the academic

community. In spite of opposition from Health Canada, several promising initial

studies have been completed using Empowerplus. Today, Health Canada is blocking

further research by refusing to allow a critical double-blind research study to

proceed.

Truehope's desire is to have this discovery validated by research and made

available to the public as an alternative treatment for mental disorders,

specifically Bipolar Illness.

 

Many people are being helped by taking the vitamin and mineral supplement

Empowerplus as Truehope waits for Health Canada to approve more research

studies.

 

Now Health Canada wants to classify Empowerplus as a drug and in the meantime,

take it away from those who need it most.

 

We believe that the face of mental illness can be changed for good if natural

therapies like Empowerplus are given the chance to prove themselves.
