Guest guest
Hi! Have you tried colloidal silver in an eye dropper? I use it for a small problem I have with my eyes, and at the very least, it soothes temporarily. Sometimes the drops sting for half a second, but mostly not. I've had no adverse reactions. It doesn't seem altogether strong, in affecting my condition. Hope you find something that works soon. Steve Gregory D. Guest guest
Randy, I have had to use anti-psychotic meds for years, due to symptoms as you have described (and more). Paxil is not even going to touch but a tip of the iceberg, judging from my experience. In my knowledge, it does not cover many of the symptoms you describe. I have been hearing, more and more, that even schizophrenics are being treated with antidepressants by county hospital programs. This is a waste. A placebo may even yield the same results in many patients. However, as I have been told, eating right can really turn you around. Any med WILL leave it's mark on your body, and put toxins in your system. Eating and drinking the purest of substances is the desired way to go -- unless you have such a problem that it is keeping you from such things as having meaningful relationships, or earning a decent living.... See a Naturopath if possible. I would if I could afford to. I have lost two molars in this past year alone, due to decay caused by dryness of the mouth from meds, according to the dentist. The Psychiatrist denies this as the cause, and instead he says that anxiety causes the dry mouth. I low have low energy, and bladder problems that I attribute to meds, let alone the weight-gain! I look puffy, and stout, where I was previously stick-thin, and energetic. I have been jerked around by doctors, and laymen alike, all telling me what I should do, and if I should keep doing it at all, or if is to be for the rest of my life! Don't have blind faith. Remember that doctors get somewhat rewarded for prescribing meds. I choose to take the meds until I am retired from my industry (6 years); it is high-stress, and requires that I have clear and logical thinking at every moment. This is impossible at this time without meds. The best advice I can give you is do NOT decide not to take meds just because of the side effects, particularly if you are truly impaired. Instead, please do yourself a favor, and use natural remedies FIRST, and if this doesn't help after you have exhausted your resources, THEN see if meds are right for you. Again, I do not see what Paxil can really do for you. Finally, Frank and Alobar have posted beautiful informational posts that cover natural remedies for mental disturbances. I wish for you that you do not need to be hooked on meds as I am. Keep up your reading. Guest guest
Hi Randy, sorry to hear that you have suffered so much at the hands of the allopathic medical profession, they really should be brought to task for the many lives that they mess up every single day. I think you must look at going for organic foods for the start of your journey to recover your health. You have made the first and most difficult decision, to share your problems and ask for that help. I know that there are many on this group who can help you to learn about the correct supplements. Good luck on your journey, I know that you can get there and recover your good health even though it may take a long time. Just keep remembering that you didn't get as unhealthy as you are now in a day and it will take just as long to regain good health.
