Hi there! This is not advice, just an interesting observation, which if

you like to bake, you might enjoy. Some delicious (packaged) almond

cookies I had, with a marzipan centre, had apricot pits in the

ingredients. This was likely the source of some of the almond extract

flavour. Well, how many packages would someone need to eat?--yum! I've

seen apricot pits in our Chinatown, by the package, and inexpensively.

If my observation is worthwhile, you may have a delicious potential in

making your own marzipan type filling (if you enjoy almond extract

flavour). Can it also substitute for recipes calling for slivered

almonds (in spring, they taste strongly of almond extract too)? Would

the B17 be destroyed by heat? Steve
