Hi all, I'm new to the group and have recently started taking

supplements for my different ailments. I have fibromyalgia, social

phobia, anxiety and depression. The anxiety bothers me the most, but a

friend told me yesterday that Xanax is really not a good drug to be

on. Was wondering if anyone out there had any suggestions of a natural

supplement I can take instead.

I have similar diagnoses plus CFIDS. The following has been very helpful

as recommended by my rheumatologist:

SAM-e, 800 mg/day (up to 1600 mg as needed)

Magnesium. about 700 mg per day (plus the necessary vit B cofactors)

Malic Acid about 1200 mg per day

FishOil to at least 2 grams (2,000 mg) EPA per day
