Guest guest Posted July 8, 2003 Report Share Posted July 8, 2003 I always wonder why docs don't use the safer bio-identical steroids, cortef or cortisone acetate, rather than powerful steroids like prednisone with their bad side effects. I wonder if hydrocortisone would be helpful? I myself am taking 15mg cortef daily but you can take up to 40 mg before adrenals are adversely affected.
