Yup, and when we first got here we were not prepared for all the

graps so we gave tons to my sister for her day-care kids, and i made

alot of raisins (which are all gone now!)

Now that we have the juicer, i plan on making grape juice alot! and

i may try my hand a grape preserves.

Well i am really disappointed we didnt train ours over the winter to

go over a trellis, there are tons of vines now, more than when we got

this place and lots on the ground. It would have made a beautiful

arbor and nice place for some of my plants that prefer shade (which

have since died!)

ANyway.... grapes are way yummy, deep, deep purple and really sweet

and the vine adds some nice green to a mostly drab red and rocky yard!

Where did you get your plants? I've been trying to find some

(black/purple) wine grape vines (as opposed to the grapes you get in

the supermarket, because I like the little thick-skinned wine grapes

better), but haven't been able to find any.

I bought some grape plants !! I'm so excited, I nearly p**d my

pants !! I have to wait until next spring to actually get them. But I

ordered them -- 6 in all !!! I got 2 different kinds of dry red wine

grapes (3 plants each), from Raintree Nursery. Oh yeah !!! I like

them so much better than table grapes.

Thanks again !!

You bet!

Last year, we gave a ton to my sister and all her day care kids are

impatiently awaiting this years harvest. These grapes were THE

Sweetest i have ever tasted.

The vine we bought was a Swenson. I'm trying to revive it, we'll see

what happens.

Glad Raintree worked out for you!
