Guest guest
Hi all, This is my first post to this group, so if I'm not doing something right please let me know. I am hoping to find something here that will help me where doctors have failed. For over a year now I've been having a lot of feet, leg, ankle, and knee problems. My feet are always swollen and hurt so much. My knees pop and crack and hurt as well. Sometimes my legs and ankles join in for the fun of it. I have went to see doctors several times over this matter. They send me for tests and can't seem to find anything wrong. They tell me to exercise and just endure the pain until I am no longer in pain. I have tried that and all it does is aggravate my problem. The thing is my problem never gets better. Is there anything I can do? Thanks for your help and advice. SBC DSL - Now only $29.95 per month!
Guest guest
Hard t tell much of anything with what you say, Sandy. How old are you? Are you taking any medications for any other conditions? Anything else wrong with you? How is your weight? What sort of diet do you eat? Do you consider yourself active? Sedentary? Semi-invalid? Are you taking vitamins or supplements? If so, how much of what supplements? There is a product offered by a company called " JASON " available in many health food stores with a combination of these oils. We have found it very effectve in this area. Guest guest
Hi Sandy! It sure seems to me your problems were dismissed by your physician. That happens to a lot of people -- and sometimes that's good, as enough people end up with more problems from a doctor's intervention. Yet, it does leave the " blame the victim " feeling with the patient who's just looking for help. Exercise might be a worthwhile clue to improvement, though. I've been doing Tai Chi for over a year, and the class is for people with health challenges. The Taoist Tai Chi Society (seems to be worldwide) has " health recovery " as a part of what they do. I find that all my joints, from wrists & ankles, knees, hips, elbows, get movement, even retraining--many of us habitually don't even stand right, and it seems as though the process strives to do some corrections. It may be worthwhile checking to see if you have a Taoist Tai Chi class in your area, and ask the instructor about health recovery focus. There's 108 moves in the " set " , and it sure takes me a long time to remember, but following other people ensures anyone can keep up, and it's slow moving. There's a woman in our class who comes in on a scooter, has a neurological problem, was once unable to walk, and does some of her Tai Chi sitting down or holding onto a door knob or such. She can walk now, though is really unsteady. Muscles get stretched, also nerves, bones moved, internal organs massaged by the movements, much seems affected beneficially. Check it out!
