Guest guest
It's been six months now since I started having my mercury fillings removed. My mental and physical health has continued to improve. I still have one filling to be removed. We had to go a little slower than origionally planned because I was reacting so severely to each episode of exposure while having them removed. The reaction that I described in my post six months ago was pretty intense. I apologize for going on and on as I was very emotional at the time. I had 4 removed that time, and my dentist decided to do two at time after learning that I had become very ill for 3 weeks following the first removal. The symptoms that developed were skin rashes, dizziness, excessive hair loss, painfully cold feet that even a heating pad could not warm up (as the cold felt like it was coming from the inside), vision problems and muscle twitching (above my right eye), and then of course depression and mood swings. My energy and short term memory improved so much over the course of six months that I'm able to work part time at a fast food restaraunt, I don't need hired help with the housework or yardwork anymore, and I've been able to take my children to their homeschool group field trips this year. For my daughter's birthday, I was even able to host a sleepover wtih nine girls. I am still in awe at what a difference getting the mercury out has made. I'm continuing to have problems with my skin and hair loss getting worse after each dentist appointment, but my mind seems to continually improve. I also have tender knots in my armpits after each removal, and when they finally go away, it's time to have more mercury removed...lol. I've been off my antidepressant (paxil)now for a year and a half... and doing fine without it now. I'm so pleased with the progress that I'm making. When this is over and I have no more mercury to be removed, I am going to start a family daycare. It's like picking up my life where I dropped it off decades ago. Life without mercury is good. As many of you know, I have suffered from emotional and memory problems for many years and was diagnosed four years ago with bipolar disorder. Yesterday I had 5 mercury fillings replaced. (I have 13 more to go.) I reacted so intensly from the exposure even though every precaution was made. I had my own oxygen to breathe, I had a rubber dam in my mouth, there was a vacuum to pull the air from my mouth area out of the room to be filtered, and there was some electromagnetic thing going on to pull any mercury that escaped all that up to the ceiling. After the proceedure, I couldn't think straight, and felt like I was in a dream. Eventually I felt like I was struggling to stay conscious. It was pretty bad for about an hour and a half until I got to my doctors office to get a vitamin C IV. About half way through the IV, I came back to myself. Then towards the end of it, they added some glutithione. Afterwards I had a manic high with 2 waves of uncontrollable crying. When I got home I took extra nutrition shakes, went to church, and then sipped vitamin C until I fell asleep. Today I have an intense headache, but mentally and emotionally doing better. I am so excited, mostly because I know for SURE now that the memory and emotional problems I've experienced the past 20years is a reaction to the mercury in my system...and that it is treatable. My doctor told me that he could assure me that I had mercury poisoning just from the number and age of the fillings in my mouth, and from the mercury gas that he measured in my mouth (7 times the OSHEA safety limit). He just couldn't guarantee me that the mercury was causing my mental problems. He has treated me from many different angles with nutrtional therapy including vit. B12 shots, hydrogen peroxide IV's for chemical poisoning, medications for systemic candida...all with little or no change in my mental status. His theory is that the fewer the toxins in the brain, the more effficiently it will work the way God designed it to. I am so excited (and a little scared) of what the future holds for me. I have three more appointments spread over the next 6 months to get the rest of the mercury out . Up until now, my prayers have been more geared towards.. " Lord, please heal me. Please show me where to go and what to do to get better so I can take care of myself and my family. " I spent each day struggling to accomplish the basic necessities for myself and my children, and continually apologizing for not being able to do what others thougth I should. Now it's... " Lord, show me how you want me to use the energy and mental capabilities that You are restoring to me. " The possibilities seem endless. I have this overwhelming sense of love and gratefulness... don't know if it is part of the mania from the mercury exposure yesterday, but I just want to scream from the rooftops that God has led me to this point and provided all the support I needed to get through every nightmare-ish step of the way through people that love Him, and are understanding and compassionate toward me. Because of that I give Him the glory for my healing. My gratitude extends to my doctor who stepped out of traditional psychiatry to better be able to help people like me, my dentist who risked more mercury exposure to help me knowing what it did to her and others like me, my counselor/friend of the past 13 years Beth Calvert, Reliv and all the people that worked with and supported me from a nutritional standpoint (especially Mark who also supported me through the withdrawal of the psychiatric medications), my friend Loretta who encouraged me to get back on track with God, and a bunch of people on the net that have been walking along side me through these past four years of intense illness. My gratefulness is so intense I can't put it into words. I want to do a happy dance and kiss and hug everyone both male and female, and the tears of joy of knowing this 20 year nightmare is almost over just keep coming. > love, > Marlena > > Mail Plus - Powerful. Guest guest
>Hi Marlena, I have contemplated doing what you're doing as well. I am asymptomatic so having gone ahead with it. What did they replace the mercury with? I know they have other substances but dont know what they are. Isn't is WONDERFUL to feel like you've gotten your life back again? Congratulations!!! Also, sorry, as I'm new here this is a brand new thread. Did you remove the mercury because of the problems or just because you knew it would be a good idea? (snip) That's very intersting. About reducing the adverse effects of having these removed..... An old book on rebuilding lead acid batteries I've been converting to e-book said " Do not work (with lead) on an empty stomach-you can then absorb lead easily. " It therefore makes sense that would also hold true with mercury, so don't have it done on an empty stomach, or especially while fasting. I'm pleased to find with a brief net search to find lots of people are calling them " mercury fillings " , cause just a few years ago practically NOBODY called them that. Since " silver fillings " are 50% mercury and only 25% silver, " Mercury Fillings " is a much more accurate name. My dentist here in Chickasha, OK told me another dentist in a neighboring town (El Reno) publically said (which was printed in the El Reno newspaper) that removing the " silver fillings " of a patient cleared a medical problem (i only remember it was nervous system related); That dentist in El Reno soon after lost his licence to practice!! I guess it got back to my dentist, because next time i mententioned it to him, he pretended he didn't know anything about it.
Guest guest
Are you taking anything to help your body eliminate mercury or to protect your tissues from the mercury while it is coming out? > " Marlena " <tanelram > update on my progress with mercury filling removal > > > > It's been six months now since I started having my mercury fillings > removed. Guest guest
Hi! I had my mercury fillings removed one or two at a time, too. It was performed incorrectly, with exposure to mercury vapour. Holistic dentists know what they're doing, a better choice. I had a " challenge " with DMSA injection, and urine collected for the day revealed significant presence, almost at the limits of the testing range. I took DMSA pills off & on for weeks, to clear the mercury. You may like to consider the same. I found the testing even more expensive than the chelation, so doing chelation alone might be a good option. Good luck!
