Guest guest
Hi all. I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I'm 31. I work in a chiropractic office. I am pretty healthy... I have a lot of stress but otherwise I'm good. My husband on the other hand has not been so fortunate. He's 38 years old, was diagnosed with stomach cancer a year-and-a-half ago and had the lower 60% of his stomach removed. Since then he's had a horrible time with dumping syndrome and cramping. And to top it off, he was told about a month ago that he's had several strokes (not TIAs). The doctors checked his cholesterol and told him it was very high (260 total, 181 LDL). We have tried neurologists, gastroenterologists, general practitioners, and at this point I don't even remember what else. I've been trying to talk him into seeing a holistic practitioner but he's reluctant. So that's a quick summary of what's brought me here. If nothing else I am looking for suggestions on living a healthier life. If anyone has had experience with Dumping Syndrome I would appreciate any suggestions. Sincerely, Lorene
