Guest guest
Hello, My name is Carole, and I've just joined this group. I've been wanting a juicer to help in healing a variety of problems for some time, and had the good fortune of finding a VitaMix 3600 at a yard sale for $3.00. It is intact. My problem is that it didn't come with an instructional book, and I don't know how to use it. I know that you must add water to the vegies, and that's all I know. I would like to grind rice in it as well, but apparently you must use reverse, then forward, or some such thing, in a certain sequence. Anyway, customer service reps tell me they'll send me an instructional book for $12.00. Well, not that I'm cheap, but money is very tight from medical bills for a chronic illness, so I'm wondering if anyone here has this machine and could tell me how to use it. I'm hoping that I will see, in reading the messages, various recipies for juices as well. Thank you, Carole

Guest guest
HI! What does one look for when purchasing a juicer? I have read advertisements proclaiming that their juicer is superior for instance because it separates the fiberous portion as in celery strings. My diet has been weak in vegetables and I want to correct this. Also, can anyone recommend a book, web site or other manner of gathering information about fruit and vegetable nutritional values. Thanks, Barbara LF <lorenzo1 wrote: Hi Carol, I use a vitamix! Carol get a juiced book at your library or at a yard sale. I never read the vitamix book.
