Guest guest
Rebecca, My own effort in overcoming chronic fatigue syndrome (with the concurrent high sensitivity to chemicals, certain foods, etc.) and in preventing colon cancer (which killed my brother and is now killing my sister) involves following Dr. Max Gerson's protocol while eliminating the avoids from D'Adamo's list for A blood types and also doing what I can to eat mostly organic and raw. This is all bringing some real results, both externally visable and also in medical lab tests. My only problem is that I'm terribly underweight and finding it very hard to gain. One interesting thing that has happened is a change in my eye color. I had dismissed the concept of iridology because the claim that health will turn eyes blue didn't make sense to me. However I recently noticed that the brown " spokes " in my eyes have lightened so dramatically that my usual yellowish green or hazel eyes are beginning to look more blue-green! So maybe there is, after all, something to the theory. I don't know, though, how it could apply to people who are naturally brown-eyed. Guest guest
Hi Clarie, Thanks so much for this info. I am very worried about colon cancer right now. Taking alot of magnesium. I have over 12 food allergies and I am constantly eating things I should not. I have navy blue eyes like all in my family. I don't think eye color would have much to do with health problems. However, I do get blood shot eyes alot lately......like little veins break. My mother has the same thing. I am so sorry to read bout your brother and sister. My husband's brohter died in 1993 of colon cancer. I am afraid to go to the gastroenterolgist (msp) as I am extremely chemically sensitive and very afraid of any kind of anesthesia. My husbands' doctor told him not to eat any grains like Dr. Mercola says. Thanks for your help, Rebecca ps- I try hard to eat organic ALSO: Pineapple is a " Histamine releasing food " http://allergies.about.com/library/weekly/aa071000a.htm?terms=Histamine+ in+Food > " Claire West " <clairewest1 >Gettingwell > >Re: Dr. D'Adamo's/Gerson/Iridology >Sun, 25 May 2003 10:24:45 -0700 > >Rebecca, > >My own effort in overcoming chronic fatigue syndrome (with the concurrent >high sensitivity to chemicals, certain foods, etc.) and in preventing colon >cancer (which killed my brother and is now killing my sister) involves >following Dr. Max Gerson's protocol while eliminating the avoids from >D'Adamo's list for A blood types and also doing what I can to eat mostly >organic and raw. Guest guest
Rebecca, First thing to do is stop worrying. I know. Easier said than done. Do some google searches on alkaline pH of the colon and the rate of colon cancer. You will find that there has been found to be a correlation. An alkaline colon suggests that the beneficial bacteria are not as they should since they require a slightly acidic pH to thrive and also because the good bacteria also contribute the the colon being slightly acidic. When the colon becomes more alkaline then the bad bacteria tend to overgrow. Do you experience problems with yeast? The good bacteria help to produce B vitamins and other nutrients that the body uses. There is a correlation to calcium deficiency and colon cancer as well. Don't overdo supplemented magnesium as this may affect calcium levels. Although, people tend to be deficient with Mg. Eat plenty of green leafy vegetables, these are good food sources for magnesium and calcium and the fiber helps feed the good bacteria in the gut. Know that you are not going to get cancer and chances are greatly improved that you will not. There is a big difference between knowing and thinking. The stress of worry burns a lot of nutrients in the body, nutrients that the body needs maintain its health. You may be interested in reading some of the articles I've got on my website at http://www.xmission.com/~total/temple/index.html The site is directed toward people with cfs-fms but I believe the program is geared toward many chronic ailments that plague too many people today. The root of all health is as it says in scripture: Health in the navel, and marrow in the bones. One of these days I'll share the experience of my friend diagnosed with colon cancer. She had had a colonostomy operation which was done when she was dealing with some colon cancer. Anyway, when she got the new diagnosis from the dr. she came to talk to me. She was scheduling all her future activities around taking care of the cancer and essentially planning on dying. I talked with her for a bit, helped her realize the error in her thinking and gave her some information that I had gotten from Dr. Day's website. To make a long story short. 2 months later her check-up showed no cancer. Today, 3 years later she is still doing well. On the topic of iridology, a darker color around the iris indicates a problem with circulation and the skin. You see this in many people these days. When I do a FIR sauna I have found that the color of my eyes will become more bluish. Blue and brown is the natural color of all eyes.
