Hi Gruop,

This just does not sound right to me,does anyone have any thoughts

to offer?

My friend's daughter, age 16,has been sick and deteriorating since

October.I'll try to get the timeline right here.In October, they

thought she had mono-neucleosis....tired all the time,no

energy.Treatment with antibiotics not effective.

Then,around Christmas,they began treating for

asthma....inhalers,nebulizers,oral pills of some kind...She got

worse, and they discovered fluid in her brain from too much

antihistimine(?).Cleared brain fluid,somehow....

She went to Children's Hospital in Rochester where they think she

may have fibromaylgia.Gave her a transfusion, and she seemed better

for a while.Local Rhumeatoligist doesn't tink it's fibro,but declines

to comment on what it may be without seeing records from

Rochester....2+ weeks waiting on records!

Meanwhile,this child is in a wheelchair,has terrible hip spazms,her

heart races, her hands are all curling up like fetal position or

paralisis, and she can't lift head to sip fluids! My friend is

convinced that the child will die any minute now.

They have been to a few specialists, emergency rooms,...nobody can

tell them anything! I should mention, they have the NY State child

health care plan.....very minimal providers that participate, and long

waiting lists to be seen.

I was hoping someone in this group would see a red-flag,and give me

some kind of clue what to have her ask the docs,or see some symptoms

that point to a different diagnosis or disease.

Thanks, and Happy Mothers Day to All,

Jenny G.

in response to your obvious compassion, i am going to nominally refer you to

another much more lateralized healing group. they are radical, but all

encompassing in the range of healing suggestions. punch in tracy's corner

into your search engine, pose your question there if you like, and i suspect

you will get some thought provoking responses.

gods light to her

and you

Jenny,

Hi! I usually don't give any input on this group but felt the need to jump in

here. Your friend's daughters symptoms do not sound like fibromyalgia to me.

I've met many people with it and they did not have the severe symptoms she is

having. Wish I could tell you what I thought it was but I don't know. If it were

my child I would immediately go to a health food store and purchase RM10 from

Garden Of Life. (I work in a health food store in Williamsville, NY and have

customers who are taking this with tremendous benefit.) I've never tried the

products yet myself except for the Perfect Food I've had in a few green juices.

The RM10 is for the immune system specifically. Again, if it were me or my

child, I wouldn't wait for the doctors to find the problem, I would start

rebuilding the immune system right away. Please do some research on it and also

maybe someone else on this board can comment on the products. I've yet to here

anything negative about them.

According to the Garden Of Life website:

The following health conditions may be a direct result of immune system

dysfunction:

a.. Frequent Colds and Flu

b.. Allergies and Asthma

c.. Chronic Fatigue

d.. Fibromyalgia

e.. Candida Yeast Overgrowth

f.. Parasitic Infections

g.. Psoriasis and Eczema

h.. Rheumatoid Arthritis

i.. Viral Disorders

j.. Inflammatory Bowel Disease

k.. Hepatitis

l.. cancer

m.. Diabetes

n.. Multiple Sclerosis

o.. AIDS

p.. Lupus

Maybe it can help.

Jenny Im 33 and the best help I got for my fibromyalgia was from Russ

at www.naturalhealingsolutions.com site. Not only did I get rid of my

candida infection in less than 30 days but my fibro pain has not

returned.
