Guest guest
Thanks for the info. I am going to get some of that tree oil stuff. My daughter called this afternoon and said she had taken my 6 year old grandson to the doctor and he has scabies. We get him everyother weekend and he sleeps with us, so I bet it's a pretty sure thing that is what we have. I have another daughter that is 7 months preg. and her family stays here 3 or 4 nights a week. I told her to be sure and tell the doctor that she is preg. when she calls I don't want her to use anything that will hurt the baby. I don't know what the doctor gave Caleb but when I talked to her tonight she had already put it on him . He will sleep with it on and then take a shower in the morning. sandra
Guest guest
Hello Sandra, My thoughts are with you these pesky little mites are a real pain to get rid of. I was given Lindane to rub all over me when I had it and you know how nasty that is. The insecticide of choice is generally permethrin but the mites can become resistant to it. You will find that the spots will keep popping up every now and then when you think you have got rid of them because they hide in the fibres of clothes etc and sometimes they survive washing. I have to admit to having used gallons of Ti tree but I found that it killed the mite and soothed the itching far better than the insecticide. I tried neat Lavendar oil too when I ran out of ti tree and that works but not quite as well. When we first had it we blamed the dogs, thought they had mega fleas , and then thought we had an allergy to our washing powder. Best wishes Chris Plus For a better Internet experience http://www..co.uk/btoffer
