Hi everybody...anyone know about these symptoms: heavy feeling in

chest while lying down, centered in breastbone and radiating out,

mostly to left, pressure, occaisional small stitchlike pains under

breastbone around breasts, mostly to the left. Could this be muscular,

or does it denote a heart condition? Thanks for any

replies...regards, scarlett

I have the same pain left side, sharp and when lying down.

Certainly get your heart checked - I did and everything was fine.

There are multiple reasons for chest pains - mine is muscle related.

The actual name escapes me - I remember them saying it was more

common with pregnant women (if that helps...).

Other factors - anemia, digestive problems or gas. I also have a

thyroid problem and chest pains and thyroid problems are sometimes

linked.

Oh, Mary, thanks so much. I reallydidnt think it was a heart problem, as

its been going on for a few weeks and only uncomfortable not painful.

I'v e read recently that it is also a symptom of candida. It has cleared

up in the last few days. Im having one of those million symptom

menopauses i guess. Thanks again... s
