First I took Nexium for a month. Then I read on the internet that for some people it is a sign of not enough stomach acid. If not enough acid then the food will be poorly digested and this will result in malnutrition and worse problems. Search for Dr. Spreen on the HSI pages. Some other Drs. have also used vinegar over the last 3,000 years with beneficial results. So I have tried several things and right now the most effective seems to be a tablespoonfull of Apple Cider Vinegar before eating and at other times in a little water. I have gone 8 days since my last " big problem " and am sleeping better. Right now I am taking vinegar. I started the Vinegar several weeks ago but did not take enough at first. Also I need to lose a little weight, Gerd helps with that. If I am having a Gerd pain I do not take anything strong at that time. If no pain I can swallow lemon juice, vinagar, raw garlic and cayenne pepper in water wilth no problem. I have ordered an Omega Juicer from Dr. Mercola and will be taking more Cabbage juice when it gets here. Probably everyone is different: As for me I investigate thoroughly everything any Dr. says. I happen to believe in the Big Drug Cartel Conspiracy to Cure us all till We are Dead and wish to stay out of their control so I seek natural remwedies over designer drugs.
