Guest guest
MAKE YOUR OWN NONTOXIC DISINFECTANT FOR YOUR KITCHEN http://www.theorganicreport.com/pages/81_good_news.cfm You don't need harsh chemicals or special formulations to safely disinfect fruits and vegetables, as well as countertops, cutting boards and other food preparation surfaces. Two ordinary household ingredients—white or apple cider vinegar and 3 percent hydrogen peroxide (found in drug stores)— very effectively kill undesirable bacteria. For best results, put the vinegar and hydrogen peroxide in separate spray bottles. Mist the produce or the countertop with either the vinegar or the hydrogen peroxide and then the other. The order you use the vinegar and hydrogen peroxide doesn't matter but using both kills more bacteria than just using one. Finally, rinse the food or the surface with clean water.
