Guest guest
MRA stands for MR Angiography, a study of the blood vessels looking for occlusion, or blockage. Not what you are looking for here. Cervical spine and soft tissue are basically the same exam. The C-spine exam will look at the facets and spacing of the cervical bones to see if you have impingement of a nerve root. The Soft Tissue will look to see if tissue around the C-Spine is damaged. But the technologist who sets up the protocol for the exam can, and usually does, set up a series to look at both in the same study. Not sure why you want to know this. The Radiologist will prescribe the exam based on what he or she is looking for.
