Jo Anne,

What do you substitute for eggs on the days you do not use them?

Protien powder and Lecithin? Eggs Sub?

Thanks for the informative post!

---Kathy, There is no reason to limit our intake of eggs in my

opinion. Eggs have an abundance of lecithin in the yolk as well as

heart healthy proteins.

However, I do not use lecithin in powdered form at all Kathy since I

discovered that the vast majority of lecithin is from genetically

engineered soybeans. We use eggs in one form or another

every day. I just am not concerned about the cholesterol content of

eggs at all. The cholesterol contained therein is minimal.

Yuk! Powdered eggs are not on my menu and neither is whey

protein.<LOL Most whey protein drinks are not from an organic source

so as I do only organic dairy products they are definitely out.

In the past I used a Naturade protein drink until I found out, much

to my dismay that it also contained hydrogenated fats disguised as

Mono-diglycerides! I continued to have numerous side effects so I

discontinued using it.

Here is an excerpt that explains more in depth:

There are many food oil companies that produce mono-diglyerides.

So when you read mono-diglycerides on packaged foods, it is nothing

more than

*hydrogenated* oils.

Below is a sample of one product listing from Gillco, oils

manufactured by Quest International, one of the largest food oil

producing companies worldwide.

Gillco's url address is http://www.gillco.com. They sell

mono-diglycerides using these names, Myverol®, Myvacet®, Myvatex®,

Myvaplex®.

You're welcome, anytime! :-)

Best Regards,

JoAnn
