Coral Calcium

Hi Marie,

I saw this infomercial too. My thinking was that if the Okinawins were healthy because of the coral calcium, it could be because they put it on their crops not because they were eating it. Taking the coral calcium would be the same as eating fertile dirt(that was just my take on the whole thing). I did consider buying some to put in my herb pots but since it's pricey-I probably won't.

Have you seen the lemon egg recipe in the files? It's a good, inexpensive source of calcium.

Just my .02,

Ann

I was watching an info-mercial on Robert Barefoot and his Coral Calcium supplements, and thinking of getting some. According to him, most of our physical problems are a lack of calcium.

It's kind of pricey. Do you know if he has *the* secret formula,

Having visited Florida and seen coral blocks firsthand, i would not trust a

supplement made from that. Maybe it's good stuff, but i haven't seen the

infomercials and am not likely to. Generally, i've found that regular health

food store mineral supplements are pretty good, particularly the KAL brand.

Notice that i said " mineral " . Calcium is only effective if included with a

number of other minerals in certain proportions.

Hi Marie,

In actual fact, you can very easily make a calcium/magnesium supplement yourself. It's in the files as "Lemon Egg". Quite easy to make, and very cheap :-)

Marie,

I agree with Suzi, this is one of the best forms of assimilable calcium you can possibly use. Better than anything you will ever buy in the HFS as far as I know.

Does anyone have any information on Coral Calcium in relation to

cancer? My life partner, John, is in remission from Stage IV non-

hodgkins lymphoma and would like to stay that way. A friend of his

told him that he'd heard that coral calcium would help to keep his

body alkaline and thus prevent a reoccurence of cancer. I'd like to

hear from anyone who has had personal experience or knows of any

sites that have scientific research on the calcium. Thanks for your

time!

Namaste,

Maureen

I snipped the text below from a post Frank made on this list

a few days ago from Doctor Saul's newsletter. Coral calcium is an

expensive form of calcium which is being hyped a lot.

---Maureen, If I had any problems I would take Essiac liquid tea by

Flora (be sure to get the original formula by Nurse Rene Caisse, at

least 200 mcg of selenium each day, and maximum doses of Udo's Oil.

That should keep it at bay and in addition improve quality of life

as well!

Dear Alobar,

Thank you for taking the time to impart this information! Trying to keep up

with all the

information out there is daunting at times but worth the effort if it helps

to keep my

life partner in remission!

Dear JoAnn,

Thanks so much for the info! We're researching just about everything

we can and will hopefully make an informed decision about the best

path to take in order to keep the cancer from reoccurring.
