Guest guest
> >Any idea how safe it is to eat 2 raw eggs per day? How safe is it today to eat anything that you did not grow or produce yourself? Risky, to say the least. How risky? No one can answer that. Seems it was Dr. Mercola that said there was one egg in 10,000 contained salmonella. Based on that, it will take me 30 years to contact salmonella. By then I will be 95. Today, I think my immune system will ZAP salmonella. Can't make a wager that it will do when I am 95. As to the biotin question, I take an extra biotin pill every day, in case there is a problem. I still eat a few cooked eggs. Usually 4 per day is the limit. I have some body builder friends that eat from 6 to 10 per day. They are trying to get 300 grams of protein per day. I still think that 75 to 100 grams per day is enough for most of us. Wayne

Your friends try to eat 150-200g a day? Whoa! Can their bodies even process that much protein in a day? (well, if they're bodybuilders...I suppose it's possible) I take about 3,000 mcg of biotin a day (trying to grow out an awful haircut that I got in December ) Mindy -- My status symbol is to have none. Guest guest
Evening Mindy, >> Your friends try to eat 150-200g a day? Whoa! Can their bodies >even process that much protein in a day? (well, if they're >bodybuilders...I suppose it's possible) As you know, some bodybuilders are a bit off the deep end. One of them at a body weight of 260 can run a mile in 8 minutes. >I take about 3,000 mcg of biotin a day (trying to grow out an awful >haircut that I got in December ) Gee, be glad you have some hair. Is that all you have to worry about ? <grin> Wayne
Guest guest
I've heard that objection before Scott, but I'm not sure how true it is. What is your source on this??? Furthermore, the TN has the full gamut of the B-Complex vitamins in abundance so, I'm don't think this would be applicable here. The proof of the pudding here is in the makings. Does taking this combination improve health??? That is what needs to be considered, and the answer to that question is "YES". Guest guest
Scott, A raw egg is the most perfect food there is... but I'll let Doc explain it... PS>>>> the group advertising is prohibited.... don't do it again - you can be banned for things like that. Scott Hales <hales wrote: Thanks for the quick reply, Doctor.. I got that biotin "information" from another list, called Sulphurstories, which deals with sulphur supplements, but seems aimed largely toward people with kids with various health problems that respond well to sulphur containing supplements.. it's a pretty technical discussion group. They also stated that biotin needs to have magnesium with it, to avoid some side-effects, such as nervousness, and restless leg-syndrome. I guess I broke the rule about speaking from my own experience, huh? Suzi Senior Moderator The New with improved product search
