FEATURED NEWS ITEM Organic may no longer have any meaning in regards to meat and poultry in the U.S. A one-sentence rider to the 3,000 page 2003 Federal spending bill allows livestock producers to label their meat, poultry and dairy products as " organic " even if the animals are fed conventional feed rather than organic feed.
