Guest guest
Dear Dr. Xxxxxxxxxx, I found your site today and have been reading it with interest. The information on DMSO was very illuminating. This is the first time I read that it comes from a wide variety of plants: While in the past it was reported to be a by-product of wood processing, or worse. Later My Sister told me that MSM was helping her, Since then I take MSM; We are 75, 76 years old. I have had Toe Fungus twice. The first time Dr. Lane told me about the pills: " You have to take them for a year. " Dr. Lane at that time mentioned that; " Maybe We need something like DMSO to carry a medication into the Toe! " That was back when DMSO was sold in Service Stations! And its use was very controversial. I cured the Toe Fungus by cleaning the area thoroughly, applying liquid Tinactin, then covering that with a layer of Desitin after every shower. It takes a year to cure it that way just like the pills. Probably because the Nail grows slowly and it is " stained " so there is no way to know if it is cured except by continuing for a year. Now that I have read your DMSO report and realize that " Trees " are also plants; the DMSO does not sound so mysterious! May I suggest that perhaps a mix of Tinactin and Desitin in a base of DMSO may be an effective remedy for Toe Fungus. Or maybe just the Tinactin in the DMSO and cover the site with the Desetin for protection. I have sent this to others, with No Response. I will send this to some health sites without reference to you. Regards, Lorenzo --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
