Today, when the group was disabled, I wrote this message to a couple of other that cover alternative medicine also. Within minutes after posting them, all of our problems seemed to have cleared up. Go figure, huh? We deal with some controversial issues in health, but I wouldn't think with our small numbers that we would be considered a threat to anyone. I have heard of other groups being harrassed and denied access to their groups, under very suspicious circumstances, but I always took it with a grain of salt before. Otherwise....I've had weird things happen on all of the ! lists I'm on: such as, sometimes when I send an e-mail, it'll go through right away, and other times it'll take like 30 hours... In the last decade, I have watched the steady erosion of basic civil rights from our country. Since someone said to the effect that the enimies of our country are in effect going to burn the equivalent.. of the Riechstag, and we will now have to give up most of our other rights, I have had a sinking feeling. Especially the part where, if anyone disagrees, then they are unpatriotic and an enimy of the state. They virtually control almost all of the means of mass communication here, so there was the internet. I have a feeling that a lot of other americans feel something similar. Is this country owned by a right wing political segment or by the people. Is everyone so bullied and cowed by such people to the point that no one will stand up or even say something in our society. (You only have your life and liberty to lose if you don't). That is the wrong approach. In that way they win. What they can't handle is open honest truth. The will try and stamp out the truth, but if it becomes widely known, they will scurry from the truth.
