Hey everyone,

 

Paul Shattock (pharmacologist, expert in urinary peptides, leader in

the DAN movement, father of an autistic son) will be speaking to

physicians in Lynchburg VA on April 1 at Virginia Baptist Hospital,

Craddock Auditorium, at 6:00pm.

 

This is not open to the general public, but is only open to

physicians. I am posting this because if any of you in the area

would like your pediatrician, family doctor, etc. to be further

educated in the biology of autism, you might like to send him info

about this lecture. This is quite an accomplishment to have Mr.

Shattock speak to a very conservative medical community, and

hopefully open up some minds.

 

Shattock is an excellent public speaker. I saw him on CSpan in

November and he is very funny, but the science is complex and very

sobering. He typically speaks at the DAN conferences, but I gather

it is unusual to have him speak at a Grand Rounds with general

physicians as the audience. If your physician would be impressed by

credentials, tell him he is from Sunderland, England, and has been

knighted by the queen for his work in the field of autism.

 

Free CME (continuing medical education credits) is available for

attending the lecture.
