Guest guest
Hi everyone... I have been interested in alternative health since I was very small. After studying and practicing it for so long, it is easy to see how clearly health and politics are related. If we are to believe the goverment, or other large organizations, corporations, etc, are here to look after our wellbeing then we must question why no form of alternative medicine has ever been supported by the American Cancer Association, despite such wonderful therapies available. Why Samuel S. Epstein, M.D.'s testimony of the dangers of HRT went ignored for so long. Etc., etc., etc.,... If our wellbeing is not the goal of these organizations, coroporations, etc., then is it possible that they are instead self-vested entities. As such is it not appropriate for us to explore and examine the facts for ourselves, and then come to our own conclusions. I think eventually politics are vital to the subject of health, but I would personally prefer to keep political postings to the realm of philosophical discussions. It is too easy for political threads to degenerate into squabbling instead of the heart felt sharing and exploration which I believe is the gift of groups such as these.
