Guest guest
A friend of mine is trying to handle gout thru diet instead of allopathic meds. (see quote below). Guest guest
Strangely enough, I was just at my local Health Food Store reading an interesting article on Tart Cherry juice, specifically the Montmorency variety. Allegedly, 2 Tbsp a day do a fantastic job of suppressing inflamation via the Cox-2 channel. This is supposed to be a great product for Gout, arthritis, and other inflammatory type diseases. It also is very high in melatonin. I really don't know where you can buy this, but bet you could search for it on the Web. I have not personally used it and have no connection to any of the manufacturers, orchard owners, or birds that occasionally consume cherries. If this product results in additional revenue to the Bush/Cheney Oil Cartel, and is linked to any government conspiracy or UFO landings, I hereby disavow any foreknowledge of cherries or their alleged benefits : ) Ken - Alobar Gettingwell Saturday, February 22, 2003 11:06 AM suggestions for gout?
