Guest guest
Dear Frank, Hi, you ARE appreciated...! I guess not enough people have been saying this. I mostly lurk here and don't post. I'm interested in alternative methods of health improvement, nutrition, herbs, and vision improvement, and I belong to alot of groups so I don't have time to be truly active in every one. But THIS group I use as an important source of information. It seems to be much less tainted with advertising and bogus testimonials than many other such groups. And alot of it we owe to Frank. So keep posting those long articles, or if too many people object maybe you can post the links. Probably some of the info Frank posts come from online sources that one must PAY to to, so by posting the articles he is doing us a FAVOR. I routinely save posts I find useful, and delete the rest. So c'mon guys: Why shoudn't he post long articles? I enjoyed (if you can call it that) the case histories of people who had been given psychotropic drugs as " therapy " and it made me interested in looking at the website that contained them. It's a complicated site, with alot of links, and Frank cut right to the chase. We should ALL thank him. Why is it that people like to complain so much when someone is doing us a favor? I can never understand this one... I also suggest that one should peruse the archives of this group before posting to see if a subject has been covered in depth. I learned this when I first got a computer, from the Mac forums I joined. If I asked a question that had already been discussed, people just gave me the url to the discussion. Having to continually repeat oneself IS annoying... Guest guest
Frank, I, too, have been meaning to say I like this group just the way it is -- and I especially and consistantly enjoy the information YOU post. Guest guest
>Hi, you ARE appreciated...! I second this statement! The archives and the updated " links " list are loaded with information! I belong to a few groups and and try to contribute from time to time, there are many well educated/informed people on all the lists that I belong to and there is always something to learn.. even for the phd's. I'm always impressed when someone joins a group and their first post is " I went thru the archives " and these are my questions... and not so impressed with " these are my or my friends " problems and I WANT YOU to solve them for me, or my friend, wink, and if you don't then what good are you or this group? If a person is seriously interested in info then they will go thru the archives to glean what they are looking for and ask questions as well. As far as long posts... if i'm interested I read and not I delete (click) there's alot i'm not interested in however I do forward alot to friends that are interested. So thank you Frank and others that post, for myself and others that do not belong to this list that benefit from information from this group! Guest guest
Frank - I'll second this. For those who don't want to take the time to read the information there is a delete key. For those of us who are interested, we can read it. Doug " The only thing that's new, is the history you don't know.' Guest guest
I'll add my voice to the appreciation as well. I am far to busy to read all of your posts Frank, but being that I am very involved in the wellness industry I very much appreciate the effort you put into finding and sharing the information. We should talk some day.
