Guest guest
--- I've owned dogs (more like they've owned me!) on and off for some 40 years now, so I may (or may not) know a few things about mans best friend, Dumb animals they are - not, it's us that are the dumb one's (IMO), My 19 month old beaut of a Rhodesian ridgeback badly gashed he's front upper leg some 2 weeks ago, the wound was about the size of a walnut and went down to the bone with flesh hanging - a real proper job. Now if I took him to the vet, he would have stuck some anti's in him, put some salve and bandage on it and 'relieved me of about £30 UK. My Homeopathic friend used to say to me that the body can heal itself given rest and correct nutrition so - I left it ... didn't even clean it as his saliva is the best salve for that. Nature, i.e. his immune system has healed it - no problem. I might add that it wasn't a question of money, but in his best interest. Ray.
