Guest guest
I read the following in a friends Live Journal earlier & just got her permission to pass it on to this list. #1 cause of headaches in children is tooth problems. Presuming they've been checked at the dentist, etc. : Kids growing molars (that'd be a kid around my daughter's age) often grind their teeth at night.. dentists rarely let people know they see the evidence. For 1.50 a person can buy a mouth guard from a sports store and by wearing that every night for around 2 months the body forgets the habit of grinding.. at least til new stressors come about (then put the mouth guard back in). If a kid wakes up with a headache, its probably the teeth causing it, if the kid gets one around 10 am, its probably the teeth. All my kid's pediatricions have known B gets a headache around her temples - she says " sinuses " . There are no sinuses right there. Thats the jaw tension. #2 cause of headaches in children is eye strain (sometimes caused by headaches caused by #1) Alobar
