Guest guest Posted February 6, 2003 Report Share Posted February 6, 2003 Dear Group, There has been quite a few instances of " errors " in our group postings lately. Some messages get reposted 3, 4 or 5 times automaticlly while others of the same tine period are only posted once. Our front page is now different. It no longer shows the previous years number of posts by months. The accumulated posts showing by month were for January were restarted towards the end of January, at the same time as the multiple posts started. Today, 2 posts to the group by a member didn't show up on the board after they were posted and approved. This has happened infrequetly in the recent past. I have examined other groups and none appear to be having these problems. I wrote twice to to get help with the problems. I received back an unrelated stock answer for an email account. It seems possible that the errrors that we are having are are of a malicious nature, possibly by a employee or other. Why would they do that? What do you think? Any comments. They now show 8 messages when we really have over 10,000. 2 messages were posted and they have reposted themselves numerous times. The problem just started this morning.
