weird things going on here with group posts.

Dear Group,

 

I don't know what is going on but something or someone has caused the group

posts to go somewhat haywire.

 

I posted a message and it showed up 3 or 4 more times at random time intervals.

 

Someone else posted to the group and it was fine.

 

I posted again and again the message showed up 3 or 4 more times.

 

The same thing happened a third time.

 

When clicking on one of the messages, it would say that the " archive is empty "

 

and show a blank page.

 

Also, our messages shown in the little boxes on the front on the site showed

only 14 messages for this month of January and none for any prior months or

years.

 

I checked quite a few other group sites and didn't see that any other groups

were having any problems.

 

Has someone who works in messed up the group messaging somehow?

 

It seems to be better now. At least I only see one message for my last post and

some of you wrote and confirmed that one and only one came through.

This problem may not be the same as one which I had. The symptoms were

similar, except that the 2,3,4 different posts of the same message I

received all had the same time stamp. My internet provider suggested

that there may be a problem with my browser - it may have lost a byte or

two, that I should reinstall it. I didn't reinstall, but I upgraded to

a more recent one and the problem disappeared.
