My dh swears by it. He said it has helped his arthritis. He was taking RX med's his doctor gave him to relieve the pain. Once he started taking glucosamine, he backed off on his RX. Last time he took his RX was almost a year ago.
Guest guest
Hello Group, I think I am developing a frozen shoulder(ignoring it and hoping it will go away hasn't worked lol)I am finding it increasingly difficult to lift my arm above shoulder height and using a pushing movement e.g hoovering is painful. I think it is more muscular than the joint. Massage with marjoram(muscle relaxant) and chamomile(anti inflammatory) essential oils gives some relief. I was wondering about glucosamine.I take a good multivit ,mineral and flax oil supplements. My diet is vegetarian with organic butter, cream and cheese from grass fed animals and free range eggs. No wheat, potatoe or potato family but I do like brown organic rice. Any input greatly appreciated. Best wishes Chris.
Guest guest
Have you ever injured the shoulder? Have the rotator cuff tendons been torn or injured? Is it muscular in nature or is the joint itself frozen? The shoulder joint is a very shallow one and is easily dislocated or separated. Guest guest
Glocosamine will help if the problem is dry connective tissue but for arthritus and any general inflammation 3000mg of MSM with some Vitamin C to synergise the process really helps many. rusty - <gl6632 Thursday, January 30, 2003 8:03 AM Re: Ouch Frozen shoulder ! > In a message dated 1/30/2003 10:58:27 AM Eastern Standard Time, > chrisgaren555 writes: > > > I was wondering about > > glucosamine. > > My dh swears by it.
