Guest guest
Hi, I have just had the results of my Candida Test from Great Smokies Labs. They showed that I have Candida Krusei 4+, Klebsiella pneumoniae 4+ and Proteus mirabillis 4+, with them all being such high readings I am quite concerned, does anyone else have experience or knowledge about this level of Candida and bacteria. Many thanks, Jen
Guest guest
Hi Jen: Candida overrun is a symptom of the beginning of SyndromeX http://www.syndrome-x.com/ Here's the protocol for reducing candida over run: First the body is too acidic, needs minerals ending with ~ium (alkaline}I'd suggest 3- 1000 mg capsules, not tablets, of calcium/magnesium throughout the day and 20 drops of liquid trace minerals in your drinking water daily, and reduce simple carbs (sugars and starches} and heavy proteins and eat far more raw vegetables. Secondly; Restore beneficial intestinal bacteria which are the natural predators of Candida.. Take a dozen acidophilus/bifidus capsules before each meal for a week and add some bulk fiber. A good fiber blend is 50% Psyllium husk and 50% Oat Bran to give you both the soluble and insoluble fiber. Guest guest
Jen, I was tested high for klebsiella pneumonia and was put on a herb to kill it off. Uva Ursi. Since it was a diuretic I found it exhausting. Later I used a product with plant tannins in it called Viracin and Tanalbit. After taking any of these for 3 days I began to notice a difference. Don't have it anymore. Just so you understand I didn't take all of these at one time. Tried the Viracin after the Uva Ursi and then used it up and found Tanalbit had the same ingredients in it but stronger. Now if I could find the key to the repeated gastritis I have, that would be nice. I tried all kinds of diets and supplements to help. I think candida may be the biggest burden or my gut still needs more cleansing. Don't know. Flares up allot during cycling and lingers. Sugar can start it up and sometimes it doesn't. Sigh! Liz D. Guest guest
Hi Liz I found grapefruit seed extract good for G/I candida. You have to put up with a few days feeling bad due to the die off but in my case I have lots more energy now. I do have to avoid sweet stuff or I get a thrush flare-up. Best wishes Chris Everything you'll ever need on one web page from News and Sport to Email and Music Charts http://uk.my.
